# GistHubs project demo video

Produce a short, truthful demonstration from the real product. A demo is evidence with pacing, not a slideshow of claims.

## Define the proof

Write one sentence describing what the viewer must believe after watching. Choose the shortest real workflow that proves it. Normalize the starting state before recording and remove private data.

## Create the shot plan

For each shot specify:

- visible product state;
- user action;
- proof conveyed;
- duration;
- caption or narration, if needed.

Lead with the result or tension, show the key interaction without dead time, and end after the proof lands. Do not add fake clicks, fake latency, fake dashboards or generated UI.

## Record and edit

Use the user's already available browser, device or desktop recording capability. Keep the hardware cursor and unrelated windows out of frame when the tool allows it. Use zooms and callouts only to clarify real detail.

If editing tools are available, trim pauses, normalize audio, add accurate captions and export the platform crop. If they are unavailable, deliver the raw recording, shot plan, narration and exact edit notes instead of claiming a finished video.

## Verify the artifact

Play the exported file from start to finish. Check duration, resolution, audio stream, caption timing, first-frame clarity, final-frame completeness and absence of black frames. Capture a representative poster frame.

Register the final video and poster in the Draft Bundle with provenance, dimensions, duration, alt text and publication paths. Keep working files private unless the human explicitly selects them.
